The Immediacy Editor features
powerful image manipulation tools to help you breathe extra life
into your content. These include a selection of features designed
to make it fast and simple for you to embed images into site
content; automatic low-res and thumbnail creation, automatic
resize of images to standard small, medium and large sizes
(configurable), free transform and fixed constraint image resize,
cropping, brightness & contrast and sharpen.

Image variations can be viewed as a
filmstrip in the properties dialog box so that editors can quickly
backtrack to the original image or select pre-set images for
consistency with your site’s visual identity standards.

If a content area has an image with dimensions that are attributes
of the IMG element you can just double-click it and replicate its
dimensions onto another image. A great little shortcut for content
areas that require all images to be a certain size.
