Data Directory

This plugin enables the rapid creation of sortable, searchable and optionally editable lists of data without the need to learn or program in dot NET. Developers who don't know .NET (and don't have time to learn) can use this plugin to create extremely feature rich and sophisticated search (and edit) functionality using SQL and HTML.

 

Discussion Forum

The discussion group module has the following functionality:

 

  • Allow multiple forums, with setup controlled by administrator
  • Allow multiple threads within a forum
  • Allow HTML linking to individual forums (i.e. static URLs)
  • Allow deletion of posts and threads by administrator
  • Provide search facility on an individual forum and forum-wide basis
  • Allow interface customisation, via CSS
  • Allow administrator-approved thread creation
  • Allow posts in multiple languages
  • Based on ASP scripting
  • Allow moderation to be implemented on a per-forum basis
  • Provide e-mail notification of forum updates
  • Provide e-mail notification of subscriber updates (i.e. new post from specific person)
  • Provide e-mail reminder of pre-registered intention to post
  • Provide multi-language interface (i.e. "Post" button and site instructions in French, Spanish, etc.)

 

FAQ Manager

This plugin creates a searchable knowledge base from "Frequently Asked Questions". Visitors can search for answers by keyword or by category. Optionally, visitors can submit new questions and the FAQ manager will use workflow processing to direct the question to an appropriate person or department.

 

Events Calendar

Allows content authors to publish forthcoming events in an attractive "Outlook style" calendar format. Clicking on an event provides more details of that event.

 

Community Search

An alternative format for presenting events. Events are searchable by date, category and keywords. Site visitors can also optionally submit events for inclusion in the site. (Requires approval via workflow).

 

Stylepicker Plug-in

Gives site designers the ability to allow visitors to personalise the site using different style sheets. For example, style sheets for larger (and even larger) fonts can be select or the colour scheme can be changed to high contrast (such as yellow text on black background) for visually impaired users.

 

My Favourites

Allows vistors to personalise the website by creating shortcuts to most used or favourite pages. Clicking on an "Add to Favourites" link adds the page to a personalised menu. Users can also "Remove fromfavourites".

 

Time Line (History)

Creates a scrollable timeline on which clickable nodes represent key events. When a visitor clicks on a node they are presented with a brief note about the event. Ideal for providing visual impact to a corporate history page or a project management page.

 

EGMS / Dublin Core Meta Data

Adds EGMS / Dublin to core meta data to the rendered page output. In most cases the plugin can use meta data automatically gathered by the system to reduce staff workload associated with implementing EGMS compliant websites.

 

Jobs

Generates an attractive multi-department jobs listing page. Suitable for organisations that typically have around 60 vacancies or less at any given time. Can provide a link to an online application form.

 

A - Z Services

Intended for local authorities that need to provide an A - Z search of services. Manages contact numbers and handles alternative names for services (ie synonyms).

 

Councillor Listing

Intended for local authorities to allow visitors to find contact details or their elected representives. Visitors can search councillors by ward to get contact details, a photograph and a brief statement.

 

Media Plug-in

Allows content authors to upload and embed media files into the the page content.

Shareprice

Extracts the share price from an XML web services and displays it on a page. A cached result is displayed in the event of technical problems.

 

Branch locations

Depending on the querystring this plug-in can display; a list of countries, a list of offices within a country, details of the selected office, a zoom-able map of the office location. (ASP version only)

 

Key People (who's who)

Enables WYSIWYG editing of a "key staff" page, which includes small photo, large photo, name and brief biography of key staff.
