Technical requirements
Immediacy uses Windows 2000-03 Server, IIS, SQL 2000 and can
integrate existing Access databases. The CMS can run on any Windows
98, ME, 2000 or XP client that can run Internet Explorer 6 or
above.
Server
The configuration and specification of the recommended
server(s) will depend on expected website traffic, but the
specification listed below is adequate for up to around 300,000
hits per day.
Staging/Live Servers
- Processor: PIII 1.0GHz Pentium (single processor)
- Memory: 1GB RAM
- Disks: 5GB space (SCSI disks in a RAID5 is recommended, but not
mandatory)
- OS: Windows 2000 Server (with all service packs and security
updates)
- Database: Microsoft SQL2000 (with all service packs and
security updates). This may be shared by both staging &
live servers.
Client software
Immediacy is entirely web browser based, therefore there is no
additional client software to purchase or maintain.

Immediacy's .NET version has a number of features
and benefits that make the product even easier to deploy,
