Attendees are taken through an overview of WAM to introduce them to all aspects of using the Immediacy Web Asset Manager from creating users, granting document permissions and linking to documents/images under its control. This course includes a beginner’s guide to taxonomy creation and management and is specifically aimed at those involved in the categorisation of content created in Immediacy CMS.

 

Course Prerequisites

  • An understanding of the Immediacy CMS Editor to a level supplied by the Immediacy CMS Standard Editor course.
  • Administrators should have some understanding of the Immediacy Permission system as covered by the Immediacy CMS Advanced Editor and Administrator courses.

 

Aims and Objectives

This course is aimed at those who need to understand how to manage documents within the WAM and to make use of them from within the CMS. As such it covers all aspects of managing WAM held documents and the use of the CMS/WAM interface.

 

This includes a beginner’s guide to taxonomy creation and management and is specifically aimed at those involved in the categorisation of content created in Immediacy CMS.
