At the human tech agency , we are currently seeking a Support Developer to join us for the academic year 2023 - 2024 with a foundation in C#/ .NET. We firmly believe in the collaborative spirit, so you will be an integral part of the human tech agency's team, working closely with developers, project managers, and designers. Your primary focus will be to provide technical support and assistance to maintain and enhance existing websites and applications. We highly value individuals who have a track record of effectively troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while maintaining a customer-centric approach. No two projects are the same and you will be responsible for working on an array of websites and web-based applications, from charity to healthcare, education to retail, we really have worked on a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First Line Support - Provide initial response and assistance to customer queries, issues, or concerns related to the software.

  • Support Queue Management - Monitor and manage the support queue to ensure timely resolution of tickets and prioritise based on urgency and impact.

  • Bug Fixing - Identify, diagnose, and resolve software bugs reported by customers or identified through monitoring systems.

  • New Feature Development - Work on developing new features or enhancing existing functionalities based on requirements and specifications.

  • Issue Triage and Analysis - Analyse reported issues, gather necessary information, and categorise them for appropriate action, whether bug fixing or feature improvement.

  • Customer Communication - Engage with customers to gather additional details about reported issues, provide updates on bug fixes, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Collaboration with Development Team - Collaborate with the development team to escalate complex issues or share insights for continuous improvement of the related software.

  • Documentation - Maintain and update documentation related to resolved issues, troubleshooting steps, and known solutions for future reference.
